Service
Chapter service projects are chosen based on the needs of The University of Akron bands and range from scrubbing graffiti to make Guzzetta look a bit nicer to handing out candy for a mental health boost.
Brotherhood
As one of our pillars, brotherhood is celebrated by spending time with our fellow members. This can look like a game night, a hike, or even grabbing ice cream.
Fundraising
Supporting the bands can get expensive! We host several fundraisers every semester, like cleaning the JAR and our annual Penny War, and all profits are funneled back into the band program.
Recruitment
We are always on the lookout for prospective members. Throughout the fall semester, we hold multiple recruitment events to gauge interest in the organization, such as craft night and our Halloween party.
Concerts
Our members are represented in almost every large ensemble on campus. Additionally, you can find us ushering and helping with lights during concerts.
